In the past, we always said we'd be fine.
Parents always reassuring children.
"Don't fret, the future will sparkle and shine,
Things will be better for men and women."
But as they watched the future get darker,
As they watched the light fade and die away,
They saw the future's shine become duller.
They were no longer sure if we're okay.
Parents can't tell us our futures are bright,
For they don't know if we'll even have one.
The countries that brawl take our future's light.
They only care about money and guns.
Bit don't worry my friend, we'll get through this.
We'll survive and get the peace that we miss.
