Monochrome colors surrounded my view
When there was a time before you and I
The colors I saw, there were far too few.
When I saw you, blacks, whites, greys bid goodbye.
Reds, blues, and yellows all said "Hi, hello."
Then purples, greens, and oranges had arrived
I was able to take a breath of air
A heart that was dying, again revived.
Will you be able to light up my days?
Will you find a way to break through my wall?
Will you save me from the games my mind plays?
Answer these questions and you'll have my all.
I'll never know if I don't try to see,
So please do accept all that's left of me.
